These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of AdvitCare's Website, located at https://rewards.advitcare.site.

By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use AdvitCare Rewards if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

Eligibility:
  • Age Requirement: The Service is intended for users who are fifteen (15) years of age or older. By accessing or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least fifteen (15) years old. Japanese and South Korean users can use the program at thirteen (13) years old.

  • Accounts: We offer different account types, including "Underage Accounts" (for users aged 15(13*)-17) and "Adult Accounts" (for users aged 18 and older).

  • Parental/Guardian Consent for Minors (Users aged 15-17): If you are between the ages of fifteen (15) and seventeen (17) (inclusive), you represent and warrant that you have obtained the express consent of your parent or legal guardian to use this Service and to agree to these Terms. Your parent or legal guardian also agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. We reserve the right to request proof of such consent at any time. 13 in Japan and South Korea.

  • Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

  • Misrepresentation of Age: We rely on the information you provide regarding your age. We are not responsible for any misrepresentation of age by a user. If we discover that a user has misrepresented their age and is under 15, or if a user between 15 and 17 has misrepresented that they have parental consent, we reserve the right to terminate their account immediately.

  • Emancipated Minors: Notwithstanding Sections above, if you are a minor who has been legally emancipated by a court of competent jurisdiction, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms independently, and parental or guardian consent is not required. You agree to provide proof of your emancipation status upon request.

  • Account Ownership: Users may only maintain two account per individual. More than two accounts are prohibited and may result in suspension or termination.

User Obligations:
  • Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account.

  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

  • Prohibited Activities: Users may not engage in fraudulent activity, misuse points, or attempt to manipulate tasks. Any violation may result in account suspension, point forfeiture, or legal action.

  • Voiding of Prizes Upon Parental Revocation: In the event that an account belonging to a user aged 15-17 is revoked or terminated due to a direct instruction or order from their parent or legal guardian, any and all rewards, prizes, or accumulated benefits, including pending ones, associated with that account shall immediately become null and void, without compensation. This policy is in place to respect parental authority and ensure compliance with their directives regarding their minor child's participation in online services.

Earning Points:
  • How to Earn: Users can earn points by completing tasks in the categories of Gaming, Art, Education, and Digital Creativity.

  • Task Approval: Some tasks may require manual review to verify completion before points are awarded.

  • Point Expiration: Points may expire after a time of inactivity on the account.

Redeeming Points:
  • Available Rewards: Points can be redeemed for gift cards from select retailers. The available gift cards may vary by region.

  • Non-Transferable: Points are non-transferable and can only be used by the account holder. If an account is inaccessible, points may be transferred only after the user provides sufficient proof of account ownership.

  • Redemption Limits: Limits on point redemption may apply, and AdvitCare reserves the right to impose redemption caps.

StorySphere Rewards:
  • StorySphere rewards are primarily dispatched via standard postal services ("snail mail"). This method is chosen to ensure broad accessibility and cost-effectiveness for our global community.

  • Factors Causing Delays:

    • International Trade & Tariffs: Global trade discussions, tariffs, and customs processing in various countries (including, but not limited to, the US) can significantly impact transit times for imported goods.

    • Distributor Processing: Rewards are first collected and processed by our designated distributors. Delays can occur at their facilities due to high volume, logistical challenges, or unforeseen operational issues.

    • Customs & Border Control: Items may be held for inspection by customs and border control agencies, which can extend delivery timelines beyond our control.

    • Local Postal Service: Once items enter the destination country, delivery is subject to the efficiency and schedule of the local postal service.

    • Force Majeure: Unforeseen events such as natural disasters, pandemics, political instability, or major disruptions to transportation networks may cause significant delays.

  • Estimated Delivery Times: Due to the variable nature of international shipping, customs processing, and distributor operations, we are often unable to provide precise, real-time estimated delivery dates until items have been fully processed at the distributor's facility and tracking information becomes available.

  • Communication & Updates:

    • Participants will be notified when their rewards have been collected by the distributor.

    • We will actively monitor the status of delayed shipments with our distributors.

    • Updates, including tracking information (if and when available), will be communicated to the affected participants as soon as they are received by our team.

    • Participants are encouraged to reach out via the support forms for inquiries regarding their delayed rewards. We will relay these queries to our distributor and provide a response as promptly as possible.

  • Resolution for Undelivered Items:

    • If a significant period has passed beyond typical delivery expectations (e.g 1-2 months beyond the initial dispatch notification) and no tracking information or delivery has occurred, participants should contact our support team.

    • Upon verification of non-delivery after a reasonable investigation period with the distributor and postal service, we will assess the situation and determine appropriate next steps, which may include re-shipment (if feasible) or alternative resolution.

Account Suspension & Termination:
  • Cause for Termination: AdvitCare reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account, in its sole discretion, if the account is found to be engaged in fraudulent activity, misuse of our services, maintaining multiple accounts, or any other violation of these Terms.

  • Termination by User Request: Should a user wish to no longer participate in the AdvitCare Rewards Program, they may request account deletion or state they no longer wish to participate. Upon receiving a clear statements via request or direct statement of no longer wanting to participate, AdvitCare will promptly delete the account and its associated data, consistent with our data retention policies.

  • Forfeiture of Points: In the event of account termination by AdvitCare, or upon a user's request for account deletion, all accumulated points, pending rewards, and any other associated benefits will be immediately forfeited and become null and void, without compensation.

Parental/Guardian Consent:
  • For users aged 15 (13*) to 17, parental or guardian consent is required. Parents/Guardians must agree to these Terms and provide consent for the processing of the minor’s data.

Changes to the Terms:
  • We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted signifies acceptance of the updated terms.

Dispute Resolution:
  • Class Action Waiver: Users waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits related to the AdvitCare Rewards Program.

Limitation of Liability:

AdvitCare is not responsible for any loss of points or rewards due to user errors, unauthorized access, or account breaches caused by user negligence.

What Information We Collect:
  • Personal Information: First name, email, phone number, age, and other details required for account registration.

  • Parental/Guardian Information: For users aged 15-18, we may upon request collect parent/guardian names, email addresses, and consent documentation.

  • Usage Data: Information about how you use the platform, such as task completions, points earned, and redemptions.

  • Technical Information: Device type, IP address, browser type, and operating system information just as every other website.

How We Use Your Information:

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account.

  • Track task completions and reward points.

  • Notify users of updates, new tasks, or promotional offers.

  • Enforce our Terms and Conditions.

  • Comply with legal obligations related to parental consent for minors.

Legal Basis for Data Processing:
  • Consent: For users aged 15-18, we require parental consent before collecting and processing data.

  • Contract: Data is processed to fulfill our agreement to provide the rewards program.

  • Legal Obligation: Certain data is required to comply with child protection and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, COPPA, CCPA).

Data Sharing and Disclosure:
  • We do not disclose personal information without your consent, except as required by law or in accordance with these ToS.

  • We may provide documentation or transcripts of user interactions with our staff, such as login attempts and form submissions, to the user themselves or to authorities when necessary and in compliance with applicable laws.

  • Any information shared will be limited to what is necessary to address concerns or inquiries and will not include sensitive personal data unless required by law.

  • Legal Authorities: If required by law, we may disclose data to comply with legal obligations.

Data Retention:
  • We retain personal information as long as your account is active. If an account is inactive for a year, data will be deleted.

Your Privacy Rights:

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access & Portability: Request a copy of the data we have about you.

  • Correction: Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data.

  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).

  • Parental Rights: Parents/Guardians can request to review or delete data collected from users aged 1618.

How We Protect Your Data:

We use encryption, firewalls, and other security measures to protect personal data through our parent company, AdvitCare.

Legal Actions:

If any user threatens or initiates legal actions against AdvitCare Rewards Program, we reserve the right to temporarily freeze their account until the situation is resolved. This is to protect the integrity of our program and ensure compliance with any legal obligations.

Children's Privacy:

We comply with COPPA (for U.S. users under 13) and GDPR-K (for EU users under 16). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 as our website is only allowed for 15 and up (13* in Japan and South Korea). For users aged 15-17 parental consent is required before any data is collected.

International Data Transfers:

If you are located outside of the United States or the United Kingdom, your data may be transferred and stored in the U.S. or other jurisdictions. We ensure safeguards are in place for international transfers.

Changes to the Privacy Policy:

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.

Policy Addendum: AI Use in Rewards Program Tasks (August 25th 2025)

Due to the detected increase in bot accounts and to ensure fairness and the integrity of our rewards program, we have established the following rules regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. These rules are effective immediately and apply to all program members.

1. Prohibited AI Use

Using AI to complete tasks that are meant to be a result of genuine human effort is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Writing: Stories, summaries, reviews, ratings, translations.

  2. Creating: Taking pictures, drawings, sketches, or other visual content.

  3. Analyzing: Reviewing or reading content to provide a summary or report.

  4. Gaming: Using AI to automate or gain an unfair advantage in gaming tasks.

  5. Other: Other tasks not mentioned above that does not request the use of AI.

2. Permitted AI Use

AI may only be used for tasks when it is explicitly requested or required by the task description. If a task does not specifically ask for the use of AI, it is not permitted.

3. Enforcement

Our AI task helper, "Michie," has been updated to detect the use of AI in submitted work. If an account is caught using AI in a prohibited manner, it will receive a strike. Repeated violations will lead to a permanent ban from the rewards program.
